I'm sorry, I haven't read your long post. But I know one thing: You seem to be anal about me and the noctilux lens.

Before I go back to reading your long post involving Me and the Noctilux, I will add that the Noctilux is the best thing since sliced bread and if you have a problem with that or with my work involving the noctilux, please call my agent.

And there is always the Noctilux thread I started for you to visit and see how it performs in a wide variety of situations, from total darkness to the brightest sunny days.

I read your long post and honestly, all you're saying is total Bull. If I understand your logic correctly, if the 35 1.2 is faster then the Noctilux in relation to the entrance pupil and depth of field, the 15mm f4.5 is faster then the Noctilux, too.

Then you mentioned something about "different definitions of the problem". I don'T know what you are talking about. I know I was saying a f1.0 lens is faster then a f1.2 lens and there are not many ways to look at this. But you seem to imply there is. Good for you but I'm not going there. Until you prove me that a f1.2 lens is faster then a f1.0 lens, I won't stop thinking you don't know what you are talking about.

And then you mentioned I was better off shooting then talking. I don't know where you been lately but some of my work would probably make you fall off your chair. I'm not the type to brag about it but man, since I haven't seen anything coming out of your camera, I'm not sure you have the qualification to ask anything from me.
 
Just to close this thread... I just ordered a 35mm f/1.2 from Robert White. My Rigid 'cron will be going up for sale sometime soon in order to pay for it and maintain my significant other's one-in-one-out rule.
