I found this comparison hillarious- Doris Day and Rock Hudson were aperfect pair- there were things that either weren't going to sharetogether.

Throw Jim Neighbors in the mix and Rock would have been happy.

Of all the FSU LTM RFs (how's that for a string of acronyms) the FED 2 is the most exquisite. It's like a Zen experience---- it cannot be appreciated by rational means.
Sublime. Not Leica sublime, but as close as you can get for $30. BUY IT.

Yeah, I am looking forward to the 5. Should be fun. And yeah, no way I am going to sell the G-III. I was shooting with it this afternoon downtown, and it was great fun. I might be able to trade some film for a 2 body... Other than that it will be a while.

get the fed2 after you are done with the fed5. Fed 2 is my reason not to buy a leica. 🙂 Every time i get leica gas, I just look at my beautiful Fed2 with a collapsible, and think: why do i need a leica? 😀

the wife will understand. (tell her you just saved about a $1000 by not buying a leica)

Actually I having similar thoughts. I may be getting rid of the GIII and a new 28 for a FSU camera. Not sure which to get yet.
