I have been documenting London's forgotten and derelict Caffs. These are old, impoverished yet characterful places that are frequented by the same customers on a daily basis.
I've only started a few months ago and have only done two establishments to date but I am finding it fascinating from a photo but also social perspective
Fabio, these are great shots, but I think most, if not all, would be better in B&W. Please convert them and repost for comprison.

My current themed photography consists of photographing shopping trolleys I find lying around.
Great stuff there. A favorite subject of mine too when out and about.

I am digging post holes for another two acres for my animals to roam. I also need to put up another shed for hay this winter. I have fence line that needs to to re-nailed and stretched. The camouflage netting I ordered from China through Ebay should be here this coming week. That will be used to provide more shade for the animals. And we just had our 22nd day of continuous 100+ degree weather here in west Texas. Weatherman says monsoon season will be starting soon and that means the wife will be telling me to fix the leaky roof on the side porch.
The weekends, if i have anytime left. will be spent in Segundo Barrio, just across the bridge from Juarez , Mexico in downtown El Paso, taking pictures for a photojournalism book about living and growing up in an area of poverty and drug wars.
A 14 year old granddaughter will arrive here on the 22nd of July for a one week visit from San Antonio. I suppose the wife will want me to pay attention to her too. Maybe I'll take her picture.

I hear ya on that Jim! Monsoons will commence this evening - it's already humid.
Monsoons always fit into my ongoing Water in Arizona project, which I have been filling in since 1980.

I am thinking about starting a project call externalities. depicting what people do that ignores others right or benefit to their own leisure or benefits.
lately I find photo could only speaks to less than half(noise, smell are more indirect per se)
but I am only 10% into the planning stage since I still have some camera issues need taking care of and also setting up of darkroom.
long journey they say nets better rewards. I just hope it gets somewhere

That sounds like a very interesting project. Be sure to start a thread here on RFF and post the photos once you get it started.

I feel the exact opposite - I think colour works much better than mono in this series.

I'm going to Burning Man for the 2nd time this year. I took my Canon 5d2 last year, with a 24-70 F2.8L. It was great during the day, but you really need 2.0 (or faster, preferably) at night. That was even at ISO 3200.
Anywho, I'm taking the film plunge this year. Ironically, I bought a Zeiss Ikon ZM, but the conditions are too harsh, so I'm not taking it. Doing some cheaper alternatives. Switching lenses the whole week is highly ill-advised (as is changing film, but can't get around that). I'm doing 2 RFs and 2 SLRs. Line up is looking like this.
Yashica Electro GSN (45mm F1.7)
Bessa-R + Canon 35mm F2 (not sure -- haven't bought either yet).
Contax Aria + 35mm F2.8
Minolta XD (or X700) + Rokkor 58mm F1.2
Right now I'm doing a lot of lens/film tests to see what works best where. I got the Aria (since I had a 50mm F1.7 anyway), and figured I needed a 35mm for out there, so bought one. The lens is great, but the calibration is way off of the Aria body. The 50mm is not quite spot on, but very close. However, it doesn't focus to infinity (thanks, Ebay). So, kinda stuck there.
I can get a Bessa-R from a shop down the street for about $180. They're substantially cheaper on auction sites, but I might just go get it. Would make it my "take anywhere film RF" as I don't fancy taking my ZM out in the rain.
Anywho, I still have a lot of prep work, and am getting used to the different bodies. The Electro only goes up to 1/500th of a second. Seems fine, but the light conditions are the extreme end of bright. It's the ultimate example of Sunny 16. If I want a shallow depth of field during the day, that camera is way out... even with ISO50, I think my max aperture would be 5.6. The Aria reads the ISO automatically, which means I have to use the exposure compensation dial only to push (which I plan on doing at night). Etc., etc. Lots more work to do, and only about a month to do it. The Minolta bodies are... well... kinda old.
The Yashika is no spring chicken, but is easy enough.
Sorry to ramble...
