if that camera could shoot only 2-3 frames per second i would still be using it every day! love the clarity and colors. love the simplicity.

I would use any camera if it only could take 1 frame per second.

The image quality from that 'old' technology is excellent!! Have you made prints from RD1 files? If so, what's the largest print size you can make with those files and have a print that looks like the images you've shown here? Thanks.

Approx. 8" X 14" printed on 13" X 19" paper printed on a Canon Pixma Pro 100 and displayed in a clip frame. I print from Lightroom "Classic". Results appear to me to be very good.

Looking at the quality of these images makes me realize why people are so attached to their R-D1s.

I haven't visited the forum for four years now, but here I am, drawn to the RD-1 section. I regret selling mine for the M8. The M8 has come and gone, and out of all the cameras I've gone through, the RD-1 is the one I miss the most.

I have no cameras left due to financial and, well, personal issues. But my therapist told me to go back to photography to help me "cope". So here I am, back after several years, to look for an RD-1 to help me get back to photography. Looking at the images here makes me miss the IQ and colors and grain of the RD-1. Awsome stuff.
