I shot a roll of SFX200 to test Wood Effect and get an idea on correct exposure and development. Ilfosol3 @ 6 minutes, 3 scenes shot at ISO200 without filter, and EI 12, EI 6 and EI 3 with Hoya IR72 filter. I scanned them and EI 6 looks best, but I won't know which is best until I print in the darkroom. I know some get best results as EI 12...

So here are what I got. Nice Wood effect with SFX200 is easily achieved! Three examples shot "normal" compared to EI 3 / Hoya filter. Shot on Mamiya 6 / 150mm, Downtown Dubai, UAE. I my working my way through some Rollei Retro 80S for the same exercise.

This is a great film, I shoot 120 only and never use a R72filter. That is just personal because I don't love the Wood Effect. I use a red filter and shoot at EI 32. I'm on an iPad right now but later I will post a coupl to show the difference.

Here are a couple:

I like your results with a red filter, I will give that a try too!
I noted how much sharper the film was without using any filter at all. I will be interested t see how what difference, if any, that makes in the wet prints
