Interesting, Wayne. I, too, came after Katrina but not because of Katrina. I distinctly remember sitting in my office at LSU-Alexandria on the day of the storm. We didn't get much weather up there and it was hard to imagine how the southern part of the state was getting torn up. And then, of course, Rita was just a little while later. I left Alexandria for College Station on the Monday after Rita came through.
