Hiya,

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to RFF as a whole and those who have supported this crazy project of mine. Well, the first 100 books turned up today, they won't be available for online sales (these are going straight into stores) but that will be soon, and those who pre-registered for Impression Milton Keynes will be able to get a copy very soon.

But seriously, this terrible mobile phone shot shows that this is only 100 of them, there's more stock on the way albeit limited...

Those who pre-registered will get details of how to order very soon.



Of course ideally I need to sell these!

But thanks again for all your support.

It`s great to see that "your" book is nearly with us now, can`t wait for 18.00 in 11 days time at Waterstones, I`ll be there. It`ll be great to meet you for the first time and even better when I get home and slowly prize open those pages :)
Well done, you should feel proud.
Only another 272.5 hours to go . . . . . .

I've learnt a lot from this project aside from improving as a photographer, and one of those things is you have to be pretty fierce, strong and tenacious to get out there, not easy but hopefully it'll pay off. An email update will go out today and online ordering available very soon!

It'll be at Waterstones in MK, Amazon UK, and hopefully other retailers in MK, and from my website. MK Libraries will be stocking 10 loan copies. It should be available at other online retailers as I am supplying one of the largest wholesalers in the UK where many retailers like Amazon get their stock from. When things settle down after the book launch I'm going to speak to the Brighton Waterstones store and a few other local book stores that might be interested. The issue with other stores is that it's not directly a local interest item which has been the 'in' for the MK stockists, as such the Brighton/Worthing branches will have to take the book on the photography itself, and Brighton might take a couple of copies given that B'ton has a big alt/art scene.

I'm not done yet, hawking this book has required me to adopt the nature of this chappy:

I forgot to add the book is available NOW from Waterstones in Milton Keynes, both their branches in Midsummer Place and Silbury Arcade. Priced at £14.99

Although if you want a signed copy and what not, come to the launch at Waterstones, Midsummer Place between 6 and 8pm on the 17th November (2 weeks time-ish) with a small talk at 7pm.

I was hoping to purchase a signed copy, but I'm in the USA and Google checkout from your website doesn't allow that shipping destination, it seems. Am I out of luck?

Not at all. Email me on info@vickylamburn.com for Paypal details. I'll fix the US/Abroad situation this evening, might explain some of the problems with orders from abroad (in so far as one person has reported problems and no others from abroad have come in!)

My apologies. I had not expected this to be an issue.
