That Leica Glow !!!

Here glows a DR Summicron at a M3

Glow is just highlight flare. You like it or you don`t and it works for some pics, not for others.

Greyhounds are great dogs. There is a track closing in wisconsin so there are some available for adoption. I hope they all find a good home.

Also, cynically, to the fact that people who could afford them often bought Leica lenses once they had become good enough photographers to persuade themselves that they were worth the money. The 'glow' was the photographer, not the lens.

And there's less absolute rubbish around from Leica than from some of their erstwhile competitors.

I agree with Roger here ... sometimes a hint of over exposure in certain light conditions and as Roland says ... veiling flare.
