The agony of choice

Well, those fast primes I already own for Nikon. I don't see the point really of getting a Katzeye for my D200. I have an FM and an FE for when I want to go manual. And my D200 cannot work with Tri-X 😀

Granted, an F100 would probably give me more keepers than an FM, but not THAT much more. I shot a lot of film with a Minolta Dynax 7 so I can compare auto vs. manual.

As for the depth of field, that's the same with a RF or a SLR. I have no experience in trying to focus a fast 90mm on a RF.
