A wonderful series. The idea of "making some pictures that show little or no water" on the beach is an interesting, unusual basis to start a project as your.
I really like all the images in their whole, particularly N. 4-6-7 perhaps because my current interest for the "classic" landscape and its representation.
I hope you will show more here.

What beach is that - one in Australia I assume? I only have experience with Manly beach in Sydney.
