The Best Camera Yard Sale Story EVER ?

Another thought comes to my mind is, what did the COUPLE do after this? did they just say thanks to the policeman and let him walk off with nothing? Doesn't the same "karma" take revenge on them for getting the free deal of their life and not rewarding the only person alive who helped them get it?

Somewhat related, at least in what one comes across- in this case, a friend of my father-in-law, no longer shooting, had a "few things" he was thinking of selling. I made a date to see what he might have, as he had been described as a Leica guy... He had a variety of camera systems, but this box was the most interesting. Not garage sale prices as he knew what he had, but eventually someone did get a pretty fair deal.
As I recall this box had: an original black paint M2, meter, Super Angulon 21, 50 dual range Summicron, and unused Leicavit rapidwinder, manual, etc
