I have in my possession my grandfather's old Konica Autoreflex T. Cosmetically, it is perfect, same goes for its two lenses. The lubricant has gone all gummy over the years, however, and I want to send the body in for a CLA. I'm not content letting it sit pretty on the shelf, I'd like to use it and I know my grandfather would have liked me to keep running film through it.

Who would you trust to CLA your granfather's SLR?

Greg Weber in Nebraska is the premier Konica specialist. Contact him at webercamera.com. I haven't used him in years but he has done a fair amount of repair for me, some of it major. Great guy to deal with too.

Greg Weber is the Konica guy, www.webercamera.com. He was a technician for Konica and bought out all their equipment when Konica got out of the film camera business so he has the expertise and the parts. I bought a Konica Auto S2 from him nearly 2 years ago and am very happy I did that after fooling around with junk on ebay.

It's nice to see you want to have a CLA done to restore the camera to original condition - it will be more reliable and last a long time. Konica Hexanon lenses are excellent.
