Oh I'm sure there's plenty of reasons, one of which is the "$1500 Japanese selvedge denim railyard worker look" that's super popular here in Toronto (and I'm sure elsewhere) at the moment.

Ha ha, perhaps the people that buy cameras such as this one to illustrate they are a hard-shooting photographer would be better of with one of those dummy window models, that are just the exterior shell of a camera without any insides..

It's true what David Hurn said - people have all sorts of motivation for being attracted to photography, for some it is the lifestyle, for others the cameras, and then there's those who actually got into photography for the pictures
