Google the "Theory of the Commons" (or, alternatively, "The Tragedy of the Commons") and you will learn that "free rider" has a very different meaning than "free loader".

So it is not just a "pass on semantics" you are seeking.

What you've yet to do is actually point out the supposed discrepancy b/w the two quotes you cited!

What really PO's me about this is how many good people here are being just plain stupid. Maybe I am too by actually worrying about this, but damn it who else is going to if those of us how care aren't willing?

As I've said, I have people I like all over the f*****g place on this stupid mess. I just really wish everyone really would STFU for a week. Let the passions calm down. Come back here with the ability to argue rather than scream. That's all I'm really asking. Passions are too freaking high here and now; please give this a chance to work.
