I'll bite. It's not a bad image. Composition is fine, but I just think most of the other images you post are better (not as cliche). Any reason why you singled this one out for critique?
Chris, nice pic, it captures that feeling (always striking to me) of hopeful even aggressive faith, evinced by the flag, that one sees in homes and places in modest or even impoverished areas, often in the declining towns of the midwest and northeast.
Btw, I've always been a big fan of your handling of contrast. (Next spare cash I have for print buying will be one of yours, actually, probably one of your midwest field pieces or of the doll series.)
I recently acquired a ZM 28 - seeing how it combines with Trix makes me want to shoot some to see how it compares to the slower speed films I've been using. Thanks for posting.
