Yes, I have noticed 35/3 Fujinon's rendering is excellent.
Shoot it at f3 all you want, Willy - Rocket Man claimed f4 is where it's at. 😀

I like it a lot so far. I used it for two solid outings and it felt almost as transparent / comfortable as the Df I've been using for the last year plus. I guess what I want to say is it just works... no complaints so far. Images look really good. Unmistakably Fuji in its IQ (its non-bayer sensor) for better or worse. I like the look and with the 35mm at f/4... I'm getting some results I really like. All apertures are fine, but I think f/4 might be this lens' sweet spot. And don't usually care about that crap with lenses.
Nope, no other lenses right now. I have a 23mm 1.4 incoming and I am working on getting a 56mm 1.2. I think that's a pretty nice trio of lenses.
add the 16 and it would be perfect...😉
I use the X70 for my wides. I don't generally like going past 28mm. I did order the wide adapter for the X70 though.

While both of those lenses are heavier and larger than the 35/2. The build quality and optical rendering makes this disadvantage easy to swallow.
the x70?
you're turning into a fuji guy again!
Well, being a Ricoh GR fan, I knew I'd have to have a X70. I prefer it to the GR now too. I've always liked Fuji. I just didn't like the AF speed and quirkyness of some of its cameras. Now these work pretty well. Still not getting rid of my Df though.
Interesting.. I would have thought the x70 af speed to be about same as x100t, but I guess they must have updated the af motor on it or the glass their moving is lighter.
How does it compare w/ the GR in terms of af lock speed in dim light? Or for that matter af speed in general?
Gary
It most likely is similar Gary... I don't like the X100t for other reasons. I think it is too small and the button too fiddly.
It is comparable in all ways... even in low light (same issue as GR). Works great in good-great light.
Has anyone compared this to SONYs SEL 35/1.8?
