The Future of Classic rangefinders ?

I'm genuinely young(not someone who's 35 and thinks they're young), and I've been shooting about 95% film since August, having only taken an interest in photography the prior February. There's just something a little more satisfying about it. Though the lack of local knowledge regarding film is damned annoying, but I'm still here.
I shoot a Contax G1, so some of you may think I'm cheating, but it's still a rangefinder, and it's definitely a film camera.

Ah, the words of someone whom time has not yet touched. Get back to us when your 35, and you may be surprised at your own words.😱😀

Glad you like film, and significant knowledge in any area can be hard to find. The Ansel Adams book series on B&W photography is hard to beat. Others will have their favorites.

I started with digital cameras (canon A610, Fuji S5100). After interacting with fellow members of a photo club, I understood what the film cameras were like. I bought one Canonet QL19 on ebay($35 including $10 s&h). Only reason I bought the QL was its maximum aperture is 1.9!!!

After buying it, i found that the shutter was not working fine so took it to a repair guy. He charged $13 to fix it. He said the meter and lens are in excellent condition(like new!!) but the some parts partaining to the shutter and RF mechanism were broken. This guy buys old cameras for a throw away prices. Some of his old customers, just donate their broken or not working cameras to him. He uses these cameras for spares to cameras which come for repair. He has literally hundreds of cameras in his attic. According to him, he need not worry about spare parts.
