I was doing a google search for something, and ran into this old article I read over 2 years ago. It was one of the things that introduced me to looking for mechanical cameras on Ebay, KEH etc. An altogether enjoyable experience, I think. Down the slippery slope, if you ask my wife. 🙂

Anyway, I enjoyed reading it again. And what do you know, it was written by our own GeneW. Thanks, Gene. You are the man that invented GAS. 😉

Ha! Fancy someone turning up that old chestnut! I had a fun time writing that piece and it got lots of great add-on followup stories by folks who shared their affection for bottom-feeders. Almost like reading RFF but not RF exclusive.
