Really a great lens, once you get to know it. I have run into "ghosting" in some backlit situations:

the J-12 is a superb lens, it really doens´t seem to be a $60 pice of glass...at 2.8 it´s not the best but is decent...at 5.6 is really sharp and contrasty...
It has a lot of distortion in the manner of the summaron...but for the price is unbeatable...

Really enjoyed this lens on my fed 1 in summer... I quite like the feeling of shooting with gear like this.
Also like the flaring in the corners, as long its not to strong.
