I've got several candidates for 4/3 and µ4/3 cameras:
1) Olympus Zuiko Digital 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 ED SWD at 50mm:

2) Olympus Zuiko Digital 50mm f/2 ED Macro:

3) Leica 25mm f/1.4 Summilux-D (50mm equivalent in 35mm terms):

Raid, I like the last photo. Looks like you have a good lens there.
Thanks. Yes, Brian shimmed it and placed the optics inside a J-5 barrel.

Raid- looks fine to me. The uncoated Sonnar 5cm F1.5 is my favorite 50.
I also like this lens the best among all my 20 or so 50mm lenses.

I posted this one over on another thread, but it also seems to go here too:

Hacker,
Thanks for the excellent test.
The results are not suprising and they support what people here seem to know.
1. There are many excellent lenses
2. Age matters, except for some exceptions (such as CZJ 5cm 1.5 and 2.0)
3. Price matters, except for a few exceptions (such as the J-3 when correctly shimmed)

Well-known
Here is a study in greens.
Canon LTM 50/1.8
Canon LTM 50/1.2
I think the 1.8 really has "enough", the 1.2 has some wild swirl, which is becoming popular in some circles.

Maddoc,
We need to start a Summarit 1.5 thread! I love the colors you seem to always have available to post!

Dave, thanks !
The film was Provia400X rated at 400ISO.

IMHO, cron DR has the most pleasing bokeh, but my fav bokeh will be 50mm summarit f1.5. It's totally personal, if everyone is using "the best", then there's nothing special.

but i have to say that i still think this bokeh stuff is a bunch of hooey.
i can't agree with most of what is posted here.
afaiac, the canon 1.5 and the hex seem to be my favourite...aside from the lovely elmar.

You know, and I may get some flack for this, but I think the Nokton ltm 50mm f/1.5 has great bokeh--and if I manage to focus correctly, the center is tack-sharp
