A friend of miine lent me his M6 for a few days sometime back. I loved everything about the camera except the size of the focusing patch and the cluttered viewfinder. I was used to the larger patch on my Canon GiIII'S and Kiev & Contax 2's and 3's I found the kievs and Contaxs easier to focus in low light. and had better framing accuracy for the 50mm lens, which I use most of the time. Other than those issues and M's prices, I have found the M's to be fantastic camera's- Michael

Not at all, this guy has a great sens of humor - I just think you don't like his sarcasm. He just don't like the poetic snobbery expressed by so many Leica users. I felt same as he does until I got an M6 on a loan from a friend and like the solid and comfortable way it felt to carry and hold compared to my Sigma DSLR. While I understand the joy of using good tool I too think practically that the "feel" has nothing to do with image quality. In the dpreview Leica forum a photojournalist posted mages taken by a Canon D10-clearly not best camera and sayed they ere shot by M8 - no one could see the difference but many got pissed off when the truth has been revealed.
Gee, I guess you have a very small sense of humor and are taking this WAY too seriously.
Good golly. (does anyone have this person's medication?)
