titanium rerelease of M2, with M4 quick loading and film rewind knob.
Eric T said:much better low light sensitivity, a modern viewfinder, live view, AF lenses, sensor cleaning, and quiet shutter. I doubt that some of these improvements will come because Leica has been in a retro mode ever since the M5 debacle.
I'd be happy with:
- better ISO performance.
- a separate ISO dial.
- 1/8000 shutter speed.
- a quieter shutter.
- weather sealing, weather sealing, weather sealing.
why demand for weather sealing when lenses are not?
I'll take whatever sensor gives us 12-14 stops of range and clean 3200asa.
These tongue-in-cheek axioms and counter-counter-counter-arguments remind me of those people who argue for a god by arguing against it: "if G@d doesn't exist, then who wrote the Bible? Gotcha. Well, there you go."
A little embarrassing.
The Nikon cams are offering that dynamic range these days.
I have a hard time believing ANY camera can record detail in 12-14 stops. But if its true then more power to Nikon
I'm hoping to be able to change sensors the same as we once changed film.
God and Leica: I never thought I'd come upon such a thread 😉
