I can't seem to find any flashes that have an AF assist light that works on the XT1. I'd like to make it my professional camera but I can't use it in super dark venues currently.

I don't know if this would do or work but have a look:

Tbh, i was kinda hoping for an infrared af assist on a flash as well... My old canon 220ex has it and it's invaluable shooting in dark bars/clubs (which i shoot in quite a bit). The af assist from the camera does help, but i feel like the infrared one doesn't blind the patrons as much.

And a flash doesn't blind them? The af assist light has nothing on a xenon tube.

Similar for the former Minolta flash system: It was all based on IR lights.
I still miss a complete flash solution fir my Fujis
