The R is a great camera. The bright and roomy viewfinder is a pleasure to use. All the controls are fast and easy to access. The R feels good in the hand.

It's too bad the R is not listed in the poll. I haven't used any of the cameras listed in the poll, so I can't pick one.

My R2 is definitely a step up from my R. Plus, it's olive, which I like. I'm completely hidden when taking photos from the bushes. ;-)
