Maybe D mount cameras are going to be able to also use R lens. Something similar to canon whit the EF mount and the EFS mount.

It mentions a control set that is more like that found on film cameras. Maybe the coin has finally dropped and digital camera makers will offer more digi cams with traditional controls for those of us that are not in love with button, button, push here push there for setting control parameters. Seems like a step in the right direction to me.

No mention of ISO speeds, unfortunately. One would expect it to be faster than the D2, and with less noise. Anything less than moderate performance at 800 will be a deal killer for me. And by the looks of it, it looks like another evf...

It is basically an E330 in panasonic guise with some manual controls (much better IMHO). The leica lens is no surprise either it has been rumoured for quite a while. What is interesting is the cmos type sensor.

With regard to lenses it can use any of the existing 4/3 lenses including the new sigma 30mm 1.4 prime (60mm equivalent on 35mm) as can the new leica lens be used on all existing E system cameras. I feel GAS coming on. 😀

Sigh, someday maybe we can have small fast lenses for the smaller digital sensors. But for the moment, nobody seems to care. It's like we're stuck in the p&s lens wars of the 1990's again.
