I've never been a fan of the "Like" function on forums or social media, thinking if you like something you should state why. But the addition here is growing on me.
I still feel if I like a photo post, clicking "Like" seems lazy and I should instead say what I like about it.
But as a way of appreciating a compliment or comment, without making another post, using "Like" makes good sense to me.
Your thoughts?

It's nice to give and get a 'thumbs up' every once in awhile, but even so I can take it or leave it.

I find it useful for basically agreeing with what someone wrote, without having to type a response that merely says "+1" or "I agree".
