The overcast light is just right. What a lovely 2CV - and lovely composition.

Yes, it looks really nice. What's the number of the lens?
Erik.

it's number 254932 on the barrel, there's one thing the aperture numbers don't line
up with the click stops, I'm sure it can be adjusted.

That's good to hear, I'm quite surprised of the built quality of this lens and camera. now
I now why these camera's are held in high regard.

Took some picture's today, everything seems to be working good except the rangefinder
is a little off, when I focus less than 5 feet the finder looks kinda blurry, but beyond that
it's clear and sharp it could be my glasses or the camera.

I finally took my s2 and 50/1.4 in for a CLA. I can't wait to get it back and see what it's capable of.

Yes let us know, even the little cleaning I did to the finder inside improved
it. Just there one area I could not get at, I have to remove the rear prism
to get at it. There's four screws to remove, but need a certain size screwdriver
so I'll wait.

I have had my S2 / 50/1.4 for about ten days now. Shot three rolls of film. A few samples...
State Street in Chicago
Under the El at Wabash and Adams
Millennium Park ... Crown Fountain ... record-breaking heat
A fellow who jumped in front of me and said, "take me picture." He had an enormous grin. I couldn't refuse. Didn't catch the smile on film. Too bad.
Pan F+ in HC-110 B.
I'm already totally addicted to my S2.

Just went to get my pictures, well we have the good and bad with them, first the good
your alright about the Nikon stuff, it's really good the pictures are clear, sharp and the
shadow's are black as can be and the exposure right on, but it's snowing in my pictures.
it's the beginning of June and there snow in my pictures, so I checked the negatives
and there's crap all over them some kind of film, so I told the guy that there's film or dirt
on the negatives and he said "oh it must be old film or the camera", which I told him
it was nether, so I said can you clean them off and he said no and the other film
they processed was fine so I left. Do you guy's know a safe way of cleaning off the
negatives, let me know please, there's ton's of detail in these negs I want to bring out.
