and want to get another slr..maybe f2 or f3

but i want to get a 35mm and light meter for my m4 too
and I've been planning on getting a view camera...........

welcome and i'm very glad you took up my invitation.[/QUOTE said:
So am I.

did that damn money order thing get resolved?[/QUOTE said:
Joke of the week/month!

I am still 'negotiating with the bank, believe it or not. I guess you would believe it.

I am considering framing it as a 'trophy' or some sort of declaration against banks.

They want me to mail it to some addres somewhere in Sydney and then wait 3 weeks! Then, they will take $30 for "their" trouble.

I have resolved to be amused by it all. There are more important things in my life.

BTW, this is no reflection on you, just Austealian banking systems.

Cheers

erl, er, john...

clearly i am not clever enough to have noticed the same email address...

you have the patience of a saint. if you send it back to me i will cash it again and send you cash money. i'm pretty sure i can get aussie cash. the canadian banks are great that way, walk into any bank here and you can get american cash, no waiting. i can send american too.

i feel dreadful eveni knowing it's not my doing.
i have made a couple of purchases from oz and never had a problem before.

ray, my meaning was about method of payment.

i always use a money order and never been told of any problems.
poor erl, i have sent 2 money orders now and the bank still wants a hefty fee to cash it.

first problem of this nature re. $$

and the 28 is working out ok.
good shots, i took the finder apart and cleaned it up real purty so now it just flares a bit if looking at the sun.
i can live with it anyway.
if i ever get into 28 big time i might want the 2.8 anyway.

no worries ray.

Joe, that reminds me of what a 72 y.o. woman with newly diagnosed metastatic cancer told me today, that her motto from now on was: "Hakuna matata."

Wise woman.
