The Official RFF FIFA World Cup 2010 Thread

I think that red card was perfectly justified.

Correct, you are suppose to punish the intention. But knowing football refs if it wasnt for the Greek drama, the Nigerian would've probably got away with it, maybe a yellow.

But at the end of the day I am Greek so who cares :D

Yes but he didn't kick the greek guy!! Watch the thing again if you want to. Good bit of greek play acting... almost as good as ronaldo

He did try to kick him but he mostly missed. Of course the Greek guy was only pretending to be hurt but it's still unacceptable behaviour by the Nigerian player.

No guts, no glory.

I'm looking forward to the early Germany game tomorrow morning.

now they deserved that spanking. from the old mediocre players up to the coach: arrogant and frustrating.
just taking a bunch of fellows who play in european top teams and leaving them alone on the pitch, waiting for them to win a match won't do the job.

Argentina v So Korea replay is on right now. I heard a good bit of this match on the radio this morning.

KLOSE!!!

I didn't see the penalties. On the radio they said only 1 of the 6 cards was legit.

more or less, yes... and I can't really understand why Löw took out Özil/Müller and not Podolski.

basically the same story as 2006 :D although I have my doubts for the final this year...

well defended by Serbia! psychologic pressure seems hard to handle for the german team, not a bad game, but they just were too nervous in front of the goal, I guess. probably would have been different with 11 players on the pitch, but that's football and it includes odd referees here and there :)
