The Rangefinder Forum Book is Available for Sale!!!

I would bet that almost all of our sales are to ourselves and family. I sent an email to everyone in my address book bragging, and hopefully selling a couple copies. I have bought 5 copies, so far, for myself, parents, brother and an extra or two. Once we get the print version in hand it will be easier to sell.

Oh, and the comments from everyone who has seen the book are all the same. After they look at my shots, they go back and look at everyone elses, which leads to the statement "There are really good photographs/photographers in this book."

just last night, i sent out my notice to friends and family also.
i was uncharacteristically shy and needed to talk myself into it. i didn't want my friends thinking i was trying to make money off them.

so far one has responded that she ordered the book.

Just ordered one. I'm really curious to see the print and overall quality of the book as this Lulu thing might be a good solution for some projects.

Apparently the # sold is updated in real time and Sales Rank must be calculated once a day. Last night I checked and the stats were 75 sold and rank 96.

I ordered my copy of the book today. Although I did not submit a photo for the volume, I am looking forward to seeing the work of my fellow Forum members in print. Congratulations!

Our book is really selling well! Has any of our American friends got their copy yet? I guess I will receive mine by the 19th of this month!

I looked again at the site. They say the printing process takes 2 to 3 weeks. They must put it into cue for printing when an order is made. I have to assume that every copy on order when the actual printing date comes around is done as a batch. If I am correct, all of our copies will be put in the mail at the same time, and then it is a race to see who has the quickest mail system.

My money is NOT on Joe's mail system.

Well, it would not surprise me to find out that I'm the last one who receives it 🙁

Croatian postal service sucks!

Anybody ever read Thomas Pynchon's 'The Crying of Lot 49'?
