it's the second to last version, late serial, guessing it was made in 1969
"EX" grade 56USD from keh.
I've been unhappy with my 135s, and like alot of us, I have too many. This one seems to be, well, excellent.

I have one too, also from KEH. I think mine was reduced to $49
Amazingly good lens, on film or digital. Use it alot and love it.
They made a dedicated lenshood for it, which takes series VII filters.
Have that, too.

I ordered one from KEH a couple of weeks ago and they cancelled the order, saying it had just been bought. Maybe you were the buyer!
I will get one eventually...

So YOU'RE the ***hole! I had that one in my cart... I'm debating getting the bargain one in the cart, as I've had good luck in the past and am in need of new employment. I've given up hunting for a cheap Summitar, so I'm debating a Canon 135 or something from Leica to keep my lonely Jupiters company.

I guess I better not mention it's the cleanest Canon LTM I've bought in a while----not a single nick on the glass or body, zero haze and buttery focus

I sold my Canon 135mm lens and kept the Nikon 135. Both are excellent lenses. The Nikon has more shiny chrome parts .

The black Canon LTM lenses are really sweet. Great coatings, better formulas, and fine mechanics. Often times they are small and lighter, but not always. It's too bad there were not more made.
