Canada, eh.
I've got lots of RF gear. Probably more than I really need already.

There is not any piece of gear that I don't have that would allow me to take better pictures than I can already take with the gear I do have.

There are more exotic lenses (Summiluxes, Noctilux), but I don't feel the need to go there and spend so much money.

I want to concentrate on taking pictures with the gear I've got.

Congrats, Frank. I feel the same way- I don't want to buy or sell any piece of gear right now (except that I guess I need to get a scanner so can go digital. 😀 ) For now, I am concentrating on making more work, and going through old stuff and printing up things I have neglected.

I remember saying in college numerous occasions, "Man, I'm never drinking again!"

No, I'm just joking. This is a good resolution that I really, really need to learn and stick to. GAS is just deadly, but it does tend to go in fits and starts, which is nice because we can actually take some photographs in between!

Good luck Frank!

I know the feeling. I'm pretty much complete on the RF front. I would eventually like to try a Hexar RF but I've got enough RF gear to do what I want. However, I recently purchased a SLR lens (the prices are soooo reasonable compared to RF gear, I couldn't resist). Tthere's still a few things on the SLR/DSLR side that are on the radar.

I have to come clean and admit that I bought a second Rollei 35S last week that I really didn't need, but it was a great deal and not a lot of money.

you will not even fall for the latest dhaaaling of the gotta have camera craze,
the Nikon S2?

Sometimes the pursuit of the "chase" for camera gear is very very exciting, and working out the logistics is fun! Yeah, I agree with ALL, use the gear you have to take better photos and work it to maximum potential! 🙂 😀
