There has been a front (loaded with fog) reaching is here in Pensacola since 2 or 3 days. This is the time when I drive over to Joe Patti's Seafood, and I walk to the back where birds are resting. I had with me the loaner M240 with the Nikkor 35/1.8 ltm, the Olympus E-PL1 with Summilux 25/1.4 (Panasonic), and the E-P2 with the old Zeiss Planar 50/1.4.

Here are 5 snapshots taken with the M8.

I took many photos the past 2 days at this location. It makes me relax. I will one day upload to my smugmug account more images with fog.

Hi, Raid! Thanks for the post--those photos are lovely. And I think they show off what is special about the old rigid--very high resolution, but without the biting color contrast. Delicate, almost pastel-like. A very nice feel indeed--and the photographer has brought his considerable skills to bear on the scenery. My compliments!

Thanks! I like the Rigid Summicron for the qualities that you have mentioned above. This lens works very well with film and with digital cameras.
