Well, I just got my CV 28/3.5 (early and the Cut filter won't make it until Monday) and it is considered by many as shaprest 28mm for Leica LTM mount ever made.

It's so small. This is one of the great reasons some of us love Rangefinders small and compact with great optics and in the case of the M8 a great sensor. Here's the 28/3.5 on the M8 with it's big brother the 28/1.9 Ultron next to it.

Congratulations on your purchase.
I'm using the Zeiss 28mm f/2.8 which is super sharp albeit producing more contrast than the Leica lens.
I've been more than happy with mine as well.:D

Why is there a soft drink can on top of your M8?

Actually, it's the fluid supply for a new aqeous IR filter which I'm beta testing for Leica. It made to look like a Sam's bottled water bottle just to prevent it's real function from being know.
