Thanks, Gary. I was early for a meeting, so just set it on the table, focused, and hoped the man in the middle would stay mostly still while others got up, sat down, walked past.

The results make me want to do more of these in the same museum cafe. The light is so well regulated and predictable!

Are you loving your DPs, Michael? I'm following your Sigma posts in the gallery.

I've been packing the GR & Dp2m the last few days. What a light and delightful kit, and one that goes virtually unnoticed by potential (human) subjects. I'm thinking of getting a DP1x as a landscape camera if I can get one for $125-200.

So to follow up the last post: first images from a pristine, inexpensive DP1.

The compact kit I carried yesterday was GR/21mm adapter, DP1 (28mm), and DP2M (45mm). Not a back-killer, but very quiet and very sharp.

The light in the church is beautifully preserved, Michael.

But the re/enactor looks uncannily like a Mel Brooks who forgot to cross his eyes to reveal the spoof in his profile moment. ;-)
