The Sweet CLE's on *Bay

Being a HUGE fan of the CLE, I've been watching some really nice packages being auctioned out of Australia on the bay. This sweet CLE package from an "estate sale" is beyond me, but what a nice kit someone is going to end up with. A similar package with one less lens and, IIRC, no flash and case went for around $1300 last week. I can't see where this one is worth where it's going, but then that's *bay! 😛

Wow, a totally mint CLE with mint lenses 😎 I don't think you see those often. That sure looks nice, but I think the price will still raise quite a bit 🙂

Rediculous. The camera or the lenses most likely have some problems due to age and not having been used. These are about 25 to 30 years old camera's!

Mine cost a lot less anyway.

Yeah, he did. One sold last week. It was a mint CLE and two mint lenses. It went for $1300, IIRC.

That's just insane. He must have been keeping one whole set unused as a spare. I wish I could do that.

I must say that the Minolta case is rather smart looking. A body, three lenses, cases and flash unit, all boxed. Yep, someone out there is currently having a serious GAS attack.

If they've bet the farm, then they're probably nervously waiting for the end of the auction to see how much it is going to cost.

Still, it looks like a better deal than a $1600 Electro 35.
