Wow, Roberto, that thing is unbelievable!
Unobtrusive: just take the hood out, and no one in the street could ever imagine that horrible, old, huge machine is a camera...
Cheers,
Juan
This thing could have doubled as a prop for a lazer gun in a cheap 60's sci fi flick... I picture this the weapon of Ro-man from Robot Monster, setting right next to the bubble machine (an arcane reference hopefully someone will "get"...)

See? "Roman" (gorilla suit + diving helmet) the awe-inspiring alien from the $5.00 scifi thriller, Robot Monster...
That ole Konica would have fit right in as his weapon. Zap! In fact, that's what I think he's reaching for in this pic.

Bet that Barbie Polaroid fetches a few bucks on eBay... not from camera collectors - from Barbie nuts!

I took this photo with my Yashica Samurai. Note the date!

Looks like they go for $20-$40 on eBay. More with original box,
etc.
I'm told there is a tiny fake Barbie camera (less than inch long)
that goes for $150+

While it may not be attractive as a camera. It is the coolest camera I have ever seen. I think I want one!

I still really want one of those Yashica Samurai half-frames. To me not so much ugly as it is....funky. I like funky.

Fotron, anyone?
(Does anyone here even admit to being suckered into buying one?)

Funny you should say that - I'm fairly sure it was on RFF somewhere that I saw a still of two characters from a live-action Gerry Anderson series, probably UFO or Space:1999, and one was carrying a Koni-Omega.
If the "bubble machine" is the glass thingy in front of the monster, in real life it looks suspiciously like a Crookes Radiometer.

Agreed, not the prettiest camera by far but did you notice the geared focus drive?
That's almost clever.

absolutely, I really like the F - not pretty like the OM1, but more handsome. The worst, maybe a Holga because is soo badly made too (it came with an impressive field service kit: roll of crap electrical tape) - I have one too, so I'm not biased...;-)

...And yet, to me, the Nikon F with the unmetered pentaprism is the definitive 35mm film SLR design. Especially in black!

Straight off its predecessor, the C3. It was the traction engine gearing that sold me when I saw a C3 for sale (they're pretty uncommon over here).

I can't believe this... a rangefinder forum,
and no one brought up the namesake -
early and ugly - KODAK 35 Range Finder...
Yes, I confess to having one on the shelf.
See Mike Elek's page:

Well, my old Super D is pretty ugly (wish I still had it), but hardly in the same league as the Koni Omega, but here it is. The flash only made it look worse.
And I saw this "Leica" somewhere on the web years ago and grabbed a few photos of it. Must be the Safari Version.

I don't think the C33 is all that ugly. In fact, it has a certain elegant
simplicity to it. Rectangles, circles and cylinders -- what else does
a camera design really need?

My M5s need red dots!
This is the Nikon F I referred to in my earlier post... It simply lacks the elegance of the previous model, with the pentaprism on top. The metered viewfinder makes it... unwieldy and unattractive to me.
