I just got a Yashica Electro GSN and a Lynx 5000 so I am testing/getting used to them - both needs to go for CLA. Anyhow here's a shot from the Electro GSN. Tried it wide open focused on the birch tree. f/1.7 Kodak 200 print film, dev. and scanned at Walmart - 1024 x 1544 pixels.

Is that a common background bokeh, it looks like a circular swirl?! Also seems to fall of in corners..

Did you use any none Yashica maid lens hood? It could be just generic lens hood blocking Yashica's lens.

Next time try to upload bigger/large image file - it's kind of hard to see anything at this resolution as it is right now:(.

If you have to CLA them then do so and trust me, you're going to be happy every single time you use them (my obvious choice would be Lynx 5000, but GSN is good camera as well)!

Finally getting around to printing some frames after testing the MD Rokkor f/2 135mm I recently picked up. Here's one of the dogwoods outside our dining room window that shows a bit of bokeh wide open.

Hello everyone! I just signed up to this forum.
I've been shooting with film/digital pentax SLRs so far but I'm seriously exploring the rangefinder option, that's why I'm here :)
I think I've got a crush on the Nokton 40/1.4, but I still need to figure out what RF body could fit my needs.

Ahhh Chambrenoire, I stumble upon the above pic quite sometime ago and cant manage to find it again. Nice one, I love the sun light on her and the blowing hair has quite a fleeting feel to it.
