The ultimate Bokeh thread; pics please

The really interesting thing about this thread is--as someone said--the photos ALL outweigh the bokeh. So--it looks to me like if the subject is interesting--well--where's the bokeh thing? A really good photo just seems to be a really good photo, no matter what....and there are some great ones here.
Thanks to all!

Xenotar

So nice. To me, this is bokeh. An area of OOF just blurred enough to bring up the main subject. Which xenotar is it? Rollei?
Thanks

Hi Letien,
Yup, Rolleiflex 2.8C. If I had to have only once camera, it would be my Rollei with Xenotar. I just love the lens. I'm with you, just enough so that the other areas are not too distracting. Too much swirly stuff, odd looking (to me) bright-ringed donuts, double lines, I find noticeable in a photo. It's nice when that stuff isn't noticeable.

Edit: 2.8E

And a sample that shows that even some of the "best bokeh" lens can find themselves streched beyond their limit (raising fist like Col. Klink: "tree foliage!")

here's a good example of bad bokeh.

Taken with Canon dRebel with 70-300mm DO (Difractive Optics). This lens tends to render a buzzy background as a blurry buzzy background. Very distracting.
