Hood #14474 is Leica's dedicated to both 35 and 50mm Summarit-M f/2.5. It is E39 conformant, so I tried it on my Ultron with the IIIf, and found it perfect : no vignetting, zero blocking in the SBLOO external finder.
Being of rectangular type, the protection against lateral light is the best possible. But this also is the problem : unlike Summarit-M, Ultron as no thrust to lock the hood on the thread with the good trimming.
I tried small pieces of adhesive tape, but it needed continuous checking. Presently I have used adhesive paste on the thread with more secure result. I am interested in every trick you know.
