There's a lot packed into that little package. Since i felt that the only thing letting down the Minox or the Rollei was the lack of a rangefinder, I find myself very attracted to tiny RFs. I think my ECR is the smallest. It's approx 111x76x49mm, and has a 42mm f2.8. I prefer a bit wider myself, but I like the 42mm on my SP, so I'm happy.

Back to this thread... wow there is a lot of great stuff here. Standouts for me include Simon's third photo with the silhouetted figure and the figure in light coming down the street - so well seen! - and Lynn's umbrellas. But there are so many others too.

If it's permissible, I'll post a few non-RF photos from my Agfa Silette LK here... if this is strictly RF photos only, please let me know and I won't. Thanks, Richard.

i do have to say, i think i enjoy the tone in this thread. beats complimenting each other forth and back a million times for having pressed a button.
i'm going to keep the trend going by saying that the vast majority of the pictures in this thread do absolutely nothing for me - and by adding more redundant pictures in return!

It's possible there's a bit more complimentary talk here than's necessary. RFF has never really offered itself as a robust photo critique venue. And I think there's a very good reason for that. Providing valuable, insightful criticism of someone else's image is very, very difficult. I rarely see anyone here attempt it, and personally I appreciate that. I prefer to have my photo work discussed in a live meeting of folks that I trust have enough experience in order to provide useful insight.

And another thing: I doubt there are very many images shown here that are the result of just "... having pressed a button". We all press that button after some reaction to the world based on our own lived experiences. I don't react to the world the same way you do, nor do you the way I do.

I love RFF for the variety of imagery shared by here... work offered up by folks of a wide range of experiences, talent, and...let's not leave out... gear. 🙂 So I say, keep those compliments, criticisms, and advice coming. Just leave out the meanness.
