Because all of them are living I fear the death is dead...
awesome! declaring things dead is officially dead!
love it.

I once saw Elvis loading some film into his Leica rangefinder, under an umbrella as it was raining, at the same time he was giving his jacket to a young lady to keep her dry, and reciting poetry to her to cheer her up.
Isn't it strange that in this forum, of all places, the word Leica comes up as being spelled wrong ?

All chivalry ever actually said was, to quote Mel Brooks, "F*ck the poor!" Read the tales of Don Quixote de la Mancha if you want to see how stupid the whole system was (which, btw, was Cervantes' point)... It has nothing to do with being polite to women. In fact, it was, occasionally, the opposite...
Elvis is dead (not that much of a song writer, but a hell of a performer), Jer-Bear (interesting guy), John Lennon (a hack) and and Biggie Smalls are dead. That is all.
I think English literature died when an entitled rich kid walking around NYC complaining about "phonies" which surprisingly resemble the "protagonist" (not that there was really an antagonist, or anything) was lauded as a great work of said English literature.
Leica, Kodak, film, rangefinders et al. are not dead. By the frequency of new threads to the contrary, I am sure common sense is dead, however.

OK, Cropping and resizing an image is definitely not dead.
Elvis on the other hand.....

Most of these are very dead (especially common sense). I voted film but I think both film and Leica will go down kicking and screaming and put up a good fight in a niche market.

I voted for "Film", because everyone keeps insisting it is dead (or will be, imminently).
I rather suspect many of such proclamations are from losers who cannot understand why, if they prefer to shoot nothing but digital, not everyone else in the world agrees with them. It's sort of the ultimate hard sell: "Well, you might not agree with me, but film is dead, so you have no alternative. Neener, neener."

I'm very surprised that so many people think Common Sense is alive and kicking, but perhaps there is an element of irony in the figures

Elvis is lagging behind Common Sense. I wonder if it's the sideburns.
Film is leading strongly. I should develop my roll with the shot of the panhandling Elvis soon.

That's a relief. I thought spelling might be dead. (Their.....?.....they're.......)
S'pelling? Its dead. No longer serve's it's purpose. One mans time-saving misspelling is another mans spending time figuring out what it's meaning is.

I'd add "Irony" to the list. I remember when all those cultural commentators were talking about the death of Irony after 9-11. That lasted for about 3 days, until the Onion started publishing again.

This week we heard that Fuji Reala and Kodak Plus-X were gone. Film isn't dead, but you'd have trouble buying life insurance for it.

Well, Timothy Leary's dead.
I'm disappointed not to see God as an option.
...and the 25 year-old whipper snappers should be careful of what they say about John Lennon. Some of us might hit you with our hookahs. Or our walkers.
