Dear friends,

Want to go nearer to my subject with my Vito CLR: What Proximeter do I need, or is the Proxirect 93/195 the right accessory to use? Is it possible to use more than one close-up lens at the same time? Voigtländer-lovers please save this situation for me!

Kodak Retina IIIc - Kodak Retinette Ib/Wata Combimeter - Voigtlaender Vitomatic IIIB - Voigtlaender Vito CLR - Olympus-35 ECR - Canonet QL17 GIII - Minolta Hi-Matic9 - Yashica Electro 35 GSN - Petri 7 S

You can stack the Focars, but not the Proxirects. The Proxirects were for cameras without rangefinders. It would be miserable work without an SLR anyway. The Vito CLR manual on Mike Butkus' site mention the Proximeter for the CLR but does not give the usual Voigtlander xx/xxx.

Depends on what you want to photograph!
I still have the Vito B to which I attached a cheap x10 diopter lens, used a ground glass screen on the back to get some focus readings, stuck the camera on a stand and got some cracking photos in b&w. Seem to remember they were the first photos I got exhibited.
Experiment, keep things simple, no fancy gear, and you might surprise yourself as well as having a lot of fun.
