The vintage camera film you've been waiting for: Polaroid

Feel like I just watched the whole film...

Looks pretty cliché and formulaic, and the physical creature thing suggested at the end ruined any suspense.

I did like that they managed to make a flash warmup sound ominous though =P
 
I like to know where they got film for that SX-70 that actually works like it was suppose to?

Yes, that is what I suspect.

"Polaroid" just must be a trademarked name than anyone can use for a fee, from LED tv sets to Chinese made sun glasses to low priced P/S digital cameras to teen movies.

Exactly what I thought... Would have been cool if they found a pack of expired film, realized the battery died, and hunted down some impossible film. But if they went that far they could have done a lot better.

This looks like the same regurgitated crap (Ring, with a different medium) that's been churned out ad naseum for 15 years.

Ha Ha... but yes that is so true.

It would have made for a far more exciting movie, and one worth watching.
