Hey, I'm 17 and have sold a handful of prints. Not nearly enough to offset any equipment purchases, but sales are sales.

This is the 1st time my daughter grabing the leica II. She enjoys the clicking sound of shutter release and thinks leica is more funny than digital camera. She is not "professional" at all, only 6 years old after all.

I'd be interested to know which camera (and viewfinder) was used for the two pictures, because in both the child is not centred but to the lower right.

It is usually not desirable to center the subject of a photograph.

Correct, Vince. The pictures, though, are "documentary", and in them considerations of composition are not so important as showing clearly what one is out to show. The built-in finders of my Leica IIIc and Zorki 1C are not good for near distances, and I suspected that something of the kind might explain the little girl's being in the corner of each photo.

Thanks all for caring. The original film is trimed while enlarging. There are 2 reasons for not centering the child in the darkroom printing
1/ The foreground/background is a little mess.
2/ Since the picture is shot through a 35mm lens, the deformation of right is obvious.
