Joe, I've seen his auctions before and just ignore them now. It looks to be a very nice lens but the asking price is outrageous. There are other sellers who also overprice their wares and I ignore them too. Perhaps they hope to find an overseas buyer with deep pockets but I sure can't afford that much.

Hi Joe,
The guy has a feedback of 67 in the last month alone so someone must be foolish enough to pay the prices. I have come across his listings before. He keeps all the auctions "private" and is based in Hollywood. I guess people there have more money than sense! He has a Canon P for $659 and a 7 for nearly $2000! He says that is priced to sell!!! I think he must be the only person to make KevinCameras look cheap :D

snappyone on UK ebay appears to know how to charge too! Either that or I just don't know the going value for anything. He has a Oly 35 ECR which is priced buy it now for £34.95 (about $59) which to me seems rather expensive. Looking at a lot of the other RFs he has, they seem expensive too. Not surprisingly he didn't seel that much last month - and it appears to have all been relisted about 50p cheaper!

Now you guys know what 'kospafomas' (cost to performance ratio) or simplely 'Value' is.
THAT'S how I feel about any new M7, MP, ala-cart, all new Lux, Cron etc. ZI rf, any Zeiss Made in Deutscheland are;
NUTS!!!

He's out of his mind on pricing. And all his descriptions seem to read the same. This auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=107925&item=7565902952 kills me - it's not a low s/n, it's not a plain prism, it's only a nice F in the box with papers. $500, maybe $600 tops...but he's got it listed active again. And no bids this time either.

Besides, anybody who puts a $ sign in his ebay name is suspect in my book :rolleyes:

Eeek. Perhaps the same person that would buy that, would get this accessory:
Canon RF rapidwinder

I can imagine that a black rapid winder is quite collectible, but.......

Rhona has some nice things that will stay in his/her collection at the prices that are asked.

I suppose that the owner of a black camera, who bought it at the price normally asked for such things, would be sorely tempted by the black winder. If you can afford it, why not. Unfortunately, most of us must be satisfied with the pleasure of using somewhat less than perfection. But we can also take pictures!! Then it's the question of what is worth more to you: the display item in the glass case, or the one in your hands being used. Easy answer for me, and most of us, I'd guess.

And I wonder how many of the black rapid winders exist, in any condition..

rhona45th also has some obviously mis-represented items. It was obvious from the picture. (Something like a claimed screw-mount lens that was obviously an M-mount with the factory adapter removed, and it looked awful, too,)
