So maybe they are posting updates to their web site at 6am Eastern time. Just a guess. Either way, it's worth getting up early for. I'm certainly happy with mine.

That would depend on budget assumptions, if they’re cross subbing the margin in their ink cartridges you get one number……..if they don’t you get a different number, unit costs are funny things to calculate

Large distributors usually demand a 40%+ discount from the MSRP (can be as high as 60%). My best guess (knowing electronics business fairly well) is this camera costs under $1K to manufacture. Probably in the $400 to $600 range.
