Things digital cannot do...

The medium doesn't matter. Waxy, over detailed skin? Please. It's all subjective. This is a wonderful photo that tells a story. Like all great street photography.

I find the skin looks unreal, I'm expecting him to peel it off and find he's the invisible man under the mask.
The medium does matter, we can pretend it doesn't but it does because it contributes to the way the photo looks.

Wonderful photo and composition just the face makes me feel uneasy and not for the right reasons.
YMMV
Sorry to the poster of the image.

A really stunning photo! The expression on the face, the harsh lined but brightly lit skin, the blurred people in the background give a feeling of the deep thoughts he's into, isolated by his surroundings!

I prefer film to digital. With digital it feels like breaking some promises by taking a bit lousy shots and producing a fake great later on a computer. It has also started eating up my real photographic skills. Not good at manual focusing, lousy exposure estimations and not careful framing have flown out of the ease that digital has to offer me.

I have shifted back to film just to slow down, grasp a bit and add a human touch to my creativity.

This one is definitely awesome!

Film... digital... whatever. It's the results that matter and this is an outstanding capture, i'm blown away!
