Things I found out about photographing people surreptitiously

Lukitas, it's all in the eye of the beholder I'm sure, but I'm not clear about what you're trying to do. I see no connection with the subjects in your photographs. Yes, you've caught a moment in time, and yes your exposure is good, but what are the images telling us?

What are they telling you?

These are the humans I find around me. This is what they look like when caught unawares. I find them fascinating. I love to catch the expression people have when they don't think they're being looked at. I strive to catch something like the opening scenes of 'Der himmel über Berlin : the expression of people caught in their own very private thoughts.
Call it butterfly-collecting. I like to catch pictures of fellow anonymous people. The 99%, if you will.
