Thinking of an M2

Go for it. US 600 seems like a reasonable budget. Plan for the Youxin CLA in the worst case. I loved my Canon P. But the M2 is a different beast alltogether ....

Cheers,

Roland.

I have a user M2 that I don't...well, use much anymore. It's got some wear and tear, missing a small piece of the vulcanite, rubbing at the top and a couple dings here and there. It used to belong to a university. The worst thing about it, I think, is the patched shutter, but honestly, it's never caused me any grief, ever. Rangefinder is good and accurate, everything is clean, and the camera works like a charm.

I paid about $500 for it. I'd be happy to see $450 if I were to let it go. =)

Good luck with your GAS. It's the reason I own it.

Thanks. I JUST put a "Hail Mary" bid on an M2 at you know where, but if it falls through... and IF you were to let it go... could you send me a couple of photos to see the condition? I could always have the covering redone, I guess. But if you're not sure about letting it go, that's fine, too.

Thanks

Jim
